Tesamorelin

Tesamorelin is a synthetic polypeptide composed of 44 amino acids and structurally analogous to growth hormone–releasing hormone. It is investigated in research for its interaction with growth hormone signalling pathways and is studied for its potential to stimulate natural growth hormone release from the pituitary gland (a central regulator of hormone activity). Researchers examine tesamorelin for its downstream effects on metabolism, body composition, and tissue maintenance. The compound features a modified N-terminal sequence compared to endogenous growth hormone–releasing hormone, a modification studied for its potential to enhance molecular stability and extend biological activity.
